Civil Rights Project Specialist
As a Civil Rights Project Specialist, provide program and contract support to promote the advancement of the department's external contracting opportunities and equity goals in civil rights programs. Responsibilities include:
Developing statements of work for On-the-Job Training (OJT) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Support Services
Developing and implementing programs for women, minority, and disadvantaged individuals in business development statewide by participating in stakeholder groups to make program improvements.
Coordinating the federal and state grant and contract management process for Business and Program Development.
Developing training for workforce and small business consultant contracts and vendors to ensure compliance.
Performing other duties as assigned.
The work duties of this position may be performed remotely, and the position may be eligible for telework, as determined by business need and State of Minnesota and MnDOT policy.

Three years of professional experience implementing and administering a civil rights or human rights program that includes the following:
Experience administering and monitoring contracts and/or grants.
Experience analyzing and interpreting statutes, rules, laws, regulations, etc.
