Job Summary

As the Executive Assistant you will, under limited supervision, provide accurate, high level, confidential administrative/management support to the Chief Equity Officer, Equity and Inclusion Supervisor, and as needed support to other staff in the Office of Equity and Inclusion.

This position requires you to work independently using sound judgement, interpersonal and communication skills coupled with the ability to maintain a high-level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional executive support and assistance and to manage the daily operations, communications, transactions and schedule of the Chief Equity Officer. Provide an array of administrative support for the Equity and Inclusion Supervisor and Office of Equity and Inclusion.
  • This includes managing the database for the Intercultural Development Inventory, assisting Employee Resource Groups with procurement, and helping with the logistics for training and events such as the equity speaker series.
  • Serve as Technical Service Liaison (TSL) for the Chief Equity Officer, Equity and Inclusion Supervisor and Office of Equity and Inclusion, to afford efficient daily access to business-critical data and basic communication tools.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to read and understand complex oral and written instructions with minimal guidance
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web-based applications
  • Experience preparing, submitting, and filing expense reports, or QuickBooks or similar experience or some accounting experience
  • Customer service experience.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate a variety of work activities and schedules in a fast-paced environment
