Heavy Equipment Maintenance Shop Supervisor
Up to $91,057 annually
St. Paul, MN

This postion is in our Fort Snelling/St. Paul location. This position exists to serve as the snow and ice equipment supervisor for the Department of Transportation. The supervisor activities associated with the design, procurement, fabrication and up-fitting of mobile equipment, through both in-house resources and contracted vendors, utilized throughout the state in the removal of snow and ice from the state roadways and to perform these duties in the most efficient manner possible while staying within budget. This position serves as the subject matter expert for MnDOT and other local governments on snow and ice equipment matters both within, and outside, the organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Two years of advanced supervisory experience (e.g., TOS 2) of heavy equipment operations that included hiring, training and supervision of mechanics in a heavy equipment repair facility;

OR

Three years of supervisory experience (e.g., TOS 1) of heavy equipment operations that included hiring, training and supervision of mechanics in a heavy equipment repair facility;

AND

*Class B Commercial Driver's (CDL) license with air brake endorsement or within 6 months of hire.
