The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic individual to join our Human Resources Team within the Direct Care & Treatment Division of the agency. The Recruitment and External Marketing Consultant serves as the Direct Care & Treatment (DCT) expert for all recruitment-related marketing and communications initiatives, branding DCT as the employer of choice. The person in this position assists managers and supervisors across DCT in translating their vacancy filling and recruitment business needs into human resources decisions and activities. Initiatives are accomplished by providing strategic leadership and professional recruitment consultation and training to managers, supervisors and employees as well as Human Resource staff responsible for recruitment.

In this position, you will provide human resource guidance and consultation in the areas of classification, compensation, and organizational analysis.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

3 years professional level work experience in Human Resources. Experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Proven subject matter expert for recruitment-related marketing strategies
  • Strong sourcing experience utilizing a variety of tools/techniques including social media platforms
  • High volume, full-cycle, recruitment experience

A Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources or Organizational Management or related field will substitute for 1 year professional level work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures
  • Work experience in strategic planning and employee retention
  • High volume, full-cycle, recruitment experience in a healthcare setting
