Transit Project Manager
Up to $86,923/annually

This position is responsible for administration of the Small Urban Public Transit Program and assists in the administration of the Greater Minnesota Public Transit Programs for the Office of Transit and Active Transportation. Responsibility includes providing analysis and development of effective and comprehensive statewide procedures, establishing equitable funding levels and service allocation needs, evaluating performance, and consolidating program activities so that statewide program goals, policies and procedures are maintained and to ensure efficient and effective program administration.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Two years of advanced-professional experience in administering statewide programs that include writing procedures, ensuring compliance, evaluating program performance, and fiscal/program monitoring.
** A Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Planning, Business Administration, Finance, Sociology will substitute for 6 months of advanced professional work experience.
AND of those two years of advanced professional experience demonstrate the following:
Qualitative and quantitative data analysis sufficient to evaluate program information and reports, diagnose problems and research alternative methods of service.
Ensuring regulations meet compliancy of programs.
Budgeting processes sufficient to effectively recommend proposed changes to public programs and budgets.
Contract administration and negotiation experience sufficient to review annual contract plans.
Design and update reports for analysis.
