Key/Essential Function/Responsibility

Commissioning:
Develop and implement commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures for construction projects with user groups, subcontractors, and construction team membersCoordinate with design and construction teams to review project requirements and ensure that commissioning activities are integrated into the master project scheduleManage the commissioning process for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, building controls and other critical systemsPrepare for and manage materials necessary for commissioning processWork with project team and subcontractors to ensure detailed commissioning schedule is metProactively mitigate foreseen constraints and assist in implementing plans to maintain or recover scheduleParticipate in job closeout process
Technical:
Manage pre-functional and functional testing of equipment and systems to verify proper installation and functionalityManage documentation of commissioning activities, test results, and equipment certificationsCollaborate with user groups to ensure a smooth transition from construction to operationSolution-oriented troubleshootingWrite and track RFI's and document general best practices and proceduresSubmit and track change orders
Communication:
Effectively communicate across disciplines regarding construction coordination and issue resolutionCommunicate unresolved constraints and impacts in a timely manner as well as plans to mitigate impactsHelp ensure most up to date project documents are supplied to subcontractors and CxAProvide technical and procedural commissioning direction to internal and external shareholdersDevelop and maintain collaborative relationships to support problem solving and project executionEffectively lead internal meetings
What we're looking for in you:
Bachelor's degree in construction management preferred7+ yrs knowledge/experience of construction management or commissioning experience, preferably with a MEP Contractor, or Commissioning firm7+ yrs conceptual knowledge of key construction documents and their relationship to construction Project Management and Field ExecutionsExpert understanding of how design, construction, start-up, commissioning, and turnover align within the project delivery processStrong understanding of Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) and interaction testing and turnover requirements.Demonstrated ability in evaluating risk, schedule impact and safety for quality and commissioning related activities.Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationshipsDemonstrated ability to take initiative/self-motivatedAbility to analyze and evaluate information to make appropriate decisionsStrong knowledge and experience with MS Office, Bluebeam

Pay Range: $95,350 - $143,024 per year.

The actual salary offer will vary by candidate based on a wide range of factors such as specific skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
